On Saturday, November 22, 2014 Flora Pearl Foundation (FPF), Inc will host its 3rd Annual Matters of the Heart: Bridging The Gap, Building A Legacy – Alabama’s premier event focusing on overall wellness and positive relationships between mothers and daughters will take place 10:00am-2:00pm at The Bridge on Faith Chapel Christian Center’s campus, 100 Lexington Street, Birmingham, Alabama 35224.

 “Matters of the Heart will target the physical, social, emotional/mental, and spiritual aspects of the heart as it relates to mothers and daughters,” said FPF Founder Latasha J. Humphrey, “The gathering will also raise awareness about heart health with facts and tips for healthy living from The American Heart Association.”

FPF will continue its tradition of awareness, education, and fun for women and girls. Attendees of all ages will enjoy brunch, vendors, panel discussion, speakers, awards, a fashion show, and door prizes. The day will include appearances by Valerie R. Harris, Yakinea Marie Duff, Pastor Yolanda Crenshaw and FaceOn Makeup Artistry.
