DAY 14: JUST REST

 

Whenever you begin lifting weights,  in order to properly build your muscles you have to take the time to let your muscles rest. The lack of rest can lead to improper sleep, decrease in strength, and future injuries. Rest is not only beneficial to your body, but your mind and spirit as well. Matthew 11:28 says Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For some it may be a challenge to rest but remember God says to come to Him and he will give you rest for your soul. Take time today and ask God what are you unsettled with in your soul and ask him to give you rest about that situation.



PRAYER
Father, I thank you for your word today. Your word says to come to you with anything that may be causing me not to rest. I ask that you reveal to me how I need to rest and I thank you that I have your rest in Jesus Name.
